Meer over het boek

I want society to start talking about mental health. I want people to start taking mental illnesses seriously. I want them to listen to sad adolescents. During my teenage years I began to suffer from several mental illnesses. I started to write my thoughts down, hoping that maybe then, I would understand what was happening. What began as some kind of journal, turned into a collection of poems about loss, control, love and a rough journey to myself. I publish this book hoping that maybe someone out there will read this and will think 'yes. that's it. this person does exactly know what i went through. i am finally understood.'
