A little girl telling a story of her mum and dad s separation. She describes her feelings and emotions during that time from her perspective. She explains how, down the track, her mum meets a new man, who then becomes a big part of their lives. This man becomes her new stepfather whom she and her little brother grow to love and wish to call him daddy. Unsure if that s okay, with a little love and explaining, she realizes she is happy with her newly formed family and that being happy and loving her new step daddy doesn t mean she has any less love for her number one dad.
