Three gripping crime stories and language training in one! Through reading the three learning crime stories "In the Shadow of the Tower," "Death of a Dandy," and "Theft at Dawn," English skills are applied and deepened. The three crime stories share the common setting of London. Each story has a different learning objective: basic vocabulary, grammar, and advanced vocabulary. Various integrated exercises, such as fill-in-the-blank, multiple choice, puzzles, or reformulation tasks, are prepared according to the content and learning goal. The tasks are completed by the reader, and the solutions are recorded directly in the book. The exercise instructions are written in German. At the end of each crime story, a final test provides the learner with insight into their language progress. The back of the book contains the solutions and a common glossary for all three texts. The book is designed for intermediate to advanced language levels (B1/B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference). With numerous exercises, a detailed glossary, and a final test.
