This book tells the story of three professional thieves who hide in a cave high on a mountain and attack their victims. The first has a blunderbuss. The second has a pepper spray. And the third wields a huge red axe. They terrorize everyone. To stop the carriages, the thieves throw pepper in the horses' eyes. With the axe, they break the wheels. And with the blunderbuss, they threaten the passengers, whom they then rob. One day, however, following the same ritual, when they stop a carriage, they only find an orphan girl. This encounter changes the lives of Marina, the three wicked thieves, and many other orphaned children.
