The unique "Atlas of the Marine Fauna of Southern Spitsbergen" presents the results of over ten years' work of Polish biologists and oceanologists in this region. All the materials which the Atlas is composed of are based on original data collected by the authors during their research work. The pictorial material is made by specialists in virtue of living or preserved specimens, photos, and outlines. To make the Atlas easier to use, the Latin names of the animals are given as well as the Polish, English, Russian, and Norwegian ones. The detailed descriptions are presented in Polish, English, and Russian.
