One easy way to achieve this is to hold the book close to your nose and very slowly move it away from your face. Do not focus on the image; let it come into your focus. Another way is to focus on a reflection on the shiny cover; then keep looking at the reflection. This may require several attempts. Be patient. The 3D image will suddenly appear, as if by magic.
