The "Heart of Britain" is a collection of photographs submitted by English men and women for this book which benefits the Royal Brompton Hospital National Heart and Lung Appeal, a charity in England. Ten categories defining Britain were used, and a celebrity panel of judges made the final selection of 300 winning photographs for inclusion in the book. Princess Diana, who is deeply involved in charity work in Great Britain, has written a heartfelt foreword to the book.
