This book aims to give a comprehensive account of current obstetric practice and the text has been revised and includes a new chapter on the problems of the new born. There are descriptions of the recent developments in foetal monitoring, ultrasound in diagnosis and the active management of labour. Primarily aimed at students studying for their final MB examination, this book also looks at haemostatic and psychiatric disorders in pregnacy and medico-legal aspects of obstetrics.
