Mondrian

The early works of Piet Mondrian (1872-1944), associated with Classical Modernism, show the influence of Vincent van Gogh and Fauvism. Later, he discovered Picasso's work and Cubism, becoming a pioneer of abstract painting in the Netherlands. His pieces are characterized by strict geometric forms and primary colors.
