Leipzig's cityscape, rich in historic buildings, has undergone significant changes, especially in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Much of the old Leipzig known to Luther, Bach, and Goethe vanished during this time, with further losses during WWII and the GDR era. This book explores these transformations through 70 examples and 35 ensembles.
