Comprehension Success is a new generation course in comprehension practice at Key Stages 1 and 2. The texts are authentic, and selected from a broad range of genres. The questions progress in difficulty, and ensure that your pupils achieve success in comprehension skills. * Texts are selected to represent the full range of genres, from quality fiction and poetry to every kind of informational text. *Questions graduated to allow for differentiation within the class: Section A - simple questions for factual recall Section B - extended questions for inferential understanding Section C - practice in writing in the appropriate genre * The teacher's book provides further background to the texts, answers to the questions, and practice for pupils preparing for tests.
