The ten volumes of the Great Gospel of John are the main work of the 25 volumes dictated to Jakob Lorber by our Lord Jesus Christ through the inner word between 1840 to 1864. These books are generally referred to as the New Revelation and are the fulfillment of a promise made by Jesus 2000 years ago when He spoke of a time when He would tell plainly of the Father. The Great Gospel of John is a detailed account of the day-to-day conversations, teachings, actions, and movements of Jesus and His disciples during His three-year teaching mission on earth. These extraordinary teachings are of such magnitude that they can only be described in the most powerful superlatives, and their meaningful content surpasses all literature ever brought to paper. By explaining the Scriptures with the clearest of words, the New Revelation becomes a most worthy addition to the Bible. The golden thread throughout the New Revelation is to love God above all and your neighbor like yourself. The loving Father conveys that it is everyone's first duty to seek God in spirit and in truth with a humble heart. Once found, one should pray to God also in spirit and in truth, with the main requirement being to stay humble, love one's fellowman more than oneself, and to love God, the only true Father of humans and angels, above all.
