The presented book about the Georgian Folk Traditions and Legends brings to light treasures of the rich oral traditions of the country; almost unknown in the West. The anthology was compiled, translated into Russian and edited with notes in 1973 by Professor Elene Virsaladze (1911-1977), an eminent Georgian floklorist. the British scholar David Hunt translated the book into the English language.
