Aloof and Arnica tell their tale of an epic journey from the shores of Peru to a new land at the world's edge, where the sun goes down. So small are they and their other three companions that instead of sailing in a boat they set out in an earthenware pot called a poppykettle. Along the way they encounter mystery, danger, hazards, nature, and the dreadful knowledge that the poppykettle will carry only three of them to the Unchosen Land.
