Many of the recipes in this collection have been made in Irish homes for hundreds of years and the author has included recipes that were made for certain feasts and days such as Boxty, traditionally server on All Saints Day, or Barm Brack, eaten on 1 February (St Brigid s Day) and on Hallow een.
