Lucas and his boyfriend Javier quarantine in the convent of the Sisters of San José de Pinerolo, located in the middle of the Cordoba pampas. Confinement, illness, and some old grudges push the characters to a limit where not even the sisters' faith guarantees the community's survival. A precise and convincing novel that repatriates a recent horror, too recent to have been forgotten (the pandemic lockdown), to do with it what we may need most: a fiction that is both critical and hopeful.
