Frictions is a book of stories of varying length and different style, a literary puzzle in which the unity of style is precisely the diversity, fragmentation and polyphony, forming a collage in which each story is closely linked with others from the idea that writing is rewriting and friccionar with other readings. Thus, the volume title is inspired by a misprint in the catalog of gallimard, who renamed frictions the famous work of jorge luis borges. The book includes a foreword by augusto monterroso posthumously and is divided into three parts, titled "roces", "caress" and "hugs".
