Parents Weekend

Meer over het boek

From the bestselling author of *If Something Happens to Me*, this highly anticipated thriller unfolds during the exciting first year of college for five families at a small private school in Northern California. As parents gather for dinner and cocktails during Parents Weekend, their children—residents of Campisi Hall—fail to show up. Initially dismissed as typical college behavior, concern grows when hours pass without any communication from the students. Panic sets in as campus police call for reinforcements, search parties are organized, and reporters descend on the scene. Rumors spread, and questions arise about the fate of Libby, Blane, Mark, Felix, and Stella—dubbed "The Five" by podcasters and bloggers. Coming from diverse backgrounds, their disappearance raises suspicions about whether past family sins or internal group dynamics may have led to their peril. Told through multiple perspectives across time, the narrative features the return of FBI Special Agent Sarah Keller, previously seen in *Every Last Fear* and *The Night Shift*. The story delves into themes of expectation, family dysfunction, and the unforgettable experiences of newfound friendships in college.
