Don Bolognese Boeken
Don Bolognese, afgestudeerd aan de Cooper Union School of Art, ontwikkelde een carrière gericht op illustratie, om vervolgens zijn eigen verhalen te gaan schrijven. Zijn boeken, vaak gemaakt met zijn vrouw Elaine Raphael, combineren kunst, geschiedenis en avontuur op kunstzinnige wijze. Een meeslepende reis in de voetsporen van Mozart door Italië inspireerde zijn kenmerkende verhalende stijl. In zijn vrije tijd vindt hij voldoening in tuinieren en het verzamelen van paddenstoelen.
