Zachariáš Ursinus Boeken

    Zacharias Ursinus was een vooraanstaand Duits gereformeerd theoloog uit de zestiende eeuw. Hij werd een sleutelfiguur in de gereformeerde protestantse beweging in de Palts en leverde belangrijke bijdragen aan zowel de Universiteit van Heidelberg als het Collegium Sapientiae. Ursinus staat het meest bekend als de belangrijkste auteur en uitlegger van de Heidelbergse Catechismus. Zijn theologische inzichten vormden de ontwikkeling van het gereformeerde protestantse denken.

      I tento starý reformační katechismus má své dějiny. Jeho sepsáním pověřil kurfiřt Bedřich III. dva bohoslovce, Zachariáše Ursina (1534-1583) a Kašpara Oleviana (1536-1587). Katechismus se původně jmenoval "Katechismus nebo křesťanské učení"; protože byl původně vydán v Heidelberku, (19. ledna 1563) dostalo se mu jména Heidelberský katechismus, pod nímž je znám v celém světě...
