Thomas L. Kelly lebt seit über 20 Jahren in Nepal. Seine Fotografien wurden in zahlreichen Publikationen, zum Beispiel in National Geographic, Newsweek, Natural History, Le Figaro, Stern und Geo, veröffentlicht. Seit 1993 fotografiert er SexarbeiterInnen und war für UNICEF und den Save the Children Fund (USA) zum Thema Kinderprostitution tätig.
