Mariah Marsden

Set against the stunning backdrop of the Swiss Alps, this graphic novel adaptation follows young Heidi as she moves in with her seemingly gruff grandfather. Rather than succumbing to the challenges of her new life, Heidi embraces them, forging a bond with her grandfather and exploring the beauty of her surroundings. Her journey from the mountains to the bustling streets of Frankfurt highlights themes of friendship, homesickness, and self-discovery. Illustrated in a folk art style, this retelling captures the essence of kindness and the joy of nature.
