Roger Caras

    Roger A. Caras was een Amerikaanse natuurfotograaf, schrijver en natuurbeschermer die ook een bekend televisiepersoonlijkheid werd. Hij stond algemeen bekend als de presentator van de jaarlijkse Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. Na ervaring te hebben opgedaan met belangrijke televisieprogramma's, wijdde Caras zich aan dierenwelzijn als president van de American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals en aan zijn schrijfwerk. Zijn werk pleitte consequent voor de bescherming van dieren en wilde dieren.
