Examines which genes are involved in resistance, the molecular basis of resistance, and how resistance evolves in pest populations. Examines several strategies for managing resistance to new pesticides,including ALS-inhibiting herbicides, transgenic plant/pesticides that carry the gene for Bacillus thuringiensis , and sterol biosynthesis inhibiting fungicides.
