Michael Salmon wijdt zich al 32 jaar toe aan het vermaken van jonge publieken. Begonnen in 1968 als stage manager en trainee designer bij de beroemde poppentroupe "THE TINTOOKIES" in Sydney, Australië, heeft hij zijn artistieke pad gevormd. Deze vormende ervaring binnen The Australian Elizabethan Theatre Trust legde de basis voor zijn uitgebreide carrière in kinderentertainment.
