John Wallace Boeken
Deze auteur-illustrator haalt inspiratie uit de ongeremde aard van de kindertijd. Als autodidactisch illustrator studeerde hij ook theologie. Zijn vaardigheden werden aangescherpt door objecten op schaal te tekenen voor de Oriëntaalse Galerijen van het British Museum en later door werk bij kranten. Zijn boeken zijn breed vertaald, waarbij een opmerkelijk werk werd aangepast tot een tekenfilmserie.
