Ruby Mae Morrison and the mission's black stallion vanish in a furious storm. As Christy searches for them in the cold, blinding rain, she runs headlong into three angry moonshiners. Will she survive this terrifying test of faith and courage?
Christy must decide whether to continue teaching in Cutter Gap, a poor mountain hamlet, or to return to her hometown where she would be more comfortable and safe.
The role of the teacher is no longer confined to the classroom or to interactions with students. The authors of this book illustrate through case studies the emerging roles of `dynamic′ teachers.
