Louis Agassiz

    Louis Agassiz was een Zwitsers-Amerikaanse natuuronderzoeker die baanbrekend was in de studie van de natuurlijke historie van de Aarde. Na zijn opleiding in Europa in geneeskunde en natuurwetenschappen, werd hij hoogleraar aan Harvard University in de Verenigde Staten.
