There's No Such Thing as an IT Project
My Story: An Autobiography by Bob Lewis
    • “MY STORY” was originally intended to be a manuscript to be passed along to my children, grandchildren and any future generations. It was written to be a record of my early years and how, eventually, my love for athletics would turn into a lifelong profession and obsession. As I wrote, I realized that I was not only writing about my life, but I was also writing the partial athletic history of the five schools that had employed me. I decided to put the information into book form in hopes that past players, coaches, and fans would be able to read and relive so many of the events and games that they were involved in or observed. As you read this, I hope that you remember and enjoy. Each of you, whether you were mentioned or not mentioned in the narrative, played a big part in my life! Thank You! -Bob Lewis

My Story: An Autobiography by Bob Lewis
    • "Learn how to stop pouring vast sums of money into technology projects that don't have a lasting impact by closing the communications gap between IT and leadership. This practical and pragmatic book will help you lead your company's IT professionals into alignment on supporting the real needs of your organization. Too often, IT projects are treated as entities isolated from larger corporate strategy, shiny new software replacing what is already there. In this book, you will learn how to lead the culture change that can fiinallly bring about a meaningful dialogue among business analysts and information technology professionals. Achieving this requires calling on seven critical disciplines: leadership, business design, technical architecture management, application development, organizational change management, implementation logistics, and project management. Bob Lewis is an IT consultant and blogger, and Dave Kaiser brings years of experience as a chief information officer.
