Gedurende 25 jaar heeft Jeb Brugmann strategieën ontwikkeld voor overheden, bedrijven en internationale instanties om mondiale vraagstukken op lokaal niveau aan te pakken. Van 1990-2000 was hij de oprichtende secretaris-generaal van een internationale milieuorganisatie voor steden, waarbij zijn initiatieven duizenden steden in meer dan 50 landen omvatten.
