The various developments in art, architecture and design of this period from the theme of the exhibition series ‘Norway 1814’, which is part of the National Museum’s celebration of the bicentennial of Norway’s constitution. The exhibition consists of three parts, spread over three veneus. The National Gallery is showing ‘Images of an era’, the Museum of Decorative Arts and Design presents ‘Design and fashion’, while at the National Museum – Architecture you can see ‘Classical Christiania’.
