For the first time, Calvin has published his Clinical Acupuncture Case Study book in English for clinicians and acupuncture students, drawing from 30 years of clinical studies. This beautifully crafted book is accessible for beginners, serving as the perfect pictorial atlas of acupuncture points. It includes detailed descriptions of each acu-point, three different graphics for channel overviews, and photographs showing the acupuncture needle in position. As a third-generation acupuncturist, Calvin Chien applies a lifetime of knowledge in his practice at Chien’s Acupuncture Clinic in Colorado Springs, CO, where he addresses various health concerns using traditional Chinese Medicine techniques such as acupuncture, cupping, and herbal treatments. Renowned for his expertise in “Master Tung’s Acupuncture,” he is the only practitioner in Colorado specializing in this method, known for its ability to produce instant and lasting results with less needling. Since 2003, Calvin has also taught at the Master Tung’s Acupuncture Association in Taiwan and has served as a special instructor for the Team USA Olympic medical staff. Additionally, he has been a team acupuncturist for the MLB Los Angeles Dodgers and holds a USA patent for the Bio-Acueye Mechanic acupuncture device, which he invented in 2000.
