Svalbard is presented here in all its splendour. Kjærnet and Gjertz have a thorough knowedge of these islands through their daily work. They supply short and informative texts, just enough to give you a background so that you can enjoy picture whose equal you seldom have seen -- both from the Svalbard that most of us can experience, and also from that which normally is inaccessible.
