This edition Social and Anti-Social Forces in the Human Being, is a revised translation by Christopher Schaefer of a lecture given by Dr. Rudolf Steiner in Bern on December 12, 1918. It is published in German in the Die Sozialen Grundforderungen Unserer Zeit, 1963, by the Rudolf Steiner – Nachlassverwaltung in Dornach, Switzerland. It appeared in the ANTHROPOSOPHICAL REVIEW in two sections, in Vol. I, No. 2 and No. 3, 1979.
