Zatímco hlavním tématem první části byl život v totalitním režimu, ve druhé je jím tedy to, jak se člověk v takovém režimu vychovaný vyrovnává s náhle nabytou svobodou: tedy další téma, které mnozí Češi důvěrně znají.
