Predchádzajúce Denisonove cestovné záznamy vyšli pod názvami Dinotopia: Krajina mimo času, Dinotopia: Podzemný svet. Popisuje v nich zabudnutú ostrovnú krajinu, v ktorej ľudia a dinosaury žijú vo vzájomnom porozumení.
