Alenka v říši divů je dílo anglického matematika a logika Lewise Carrolla, který ji údajně napsal pro malou holčičku Alici Liddellovou. Dílu se dostalo vědecké interpretace a bylo označeno za mimořádné. Sama hlavní postava, neustále ohromená Alenka v bezděčných reakcích na imaginativní svět plný podivuhodných věcí a událostí, Carrollův um logicky svázat absurdum světa v celé šíři a líčená přirozenost i znalost dětského chování, zaručili dílu světové uznání a přerod v klasiku. Toto vydání obsahuje tzv. přívazek. Jsou to totiž dvě knihy v jedné vazbě (136 str. a 154 str.) a původně zřejmě měly vycházet zvlášť.
