She has published fiction with Morrow, Simon & Schuster, and other publishers. She is a published poet and journalist. She speaks on national television about ageism and creativity. Her novel, The Viagra Diaries, has been translated into thirteen languages. She is at work on a new novel.

Barbara Rose Brooker is a prolific author with eleven published works, including novels and a memoir, some of which are being considered for film adaptations. With a master's degree in creative writing, she teaches workshops at various institutions, including San Francisco State University. Additionally, she writes a column for SFJ Weekly and is the founder of the first Age March, aiming to promote awareness about aging on a global scale.
