Levin Ludwig Schücking

    29 mei 1878 – 12 oktober 1964

    Levin Ludwig Schücking was een vooraanstaand Duits academicus op het gebied van de Engelse taal en literatuur, en ontwikkelde zich tot de meest invloedrijke figuur in de Engelse studies in Duitsland. Als professor en directeur van de Engelse afdeling aan de Universiteit van Leipzig heeft hij het vakgebied twee decennia lang gevormd.
