Dr Meier investigates the ancient Greek understanding of dreams & dreaming, antique incubation & concomitant rituals. This work compares Asklepian divine medicine with contemporary psychotherapeutic approaches to dreaming. Helping us to recognise the suprapersonal aspects of illness, the dream is shown to reveal a transcendental path to healing. With b/w illustrations.
