Charles Sheffield

    Charles A. Sheffield was een in Engeland geboren wiskundige, natuurkundige en sciencefictionauteur. Zijn werken duiken vaak in ambitieuze wetenschappelijke concepten en de implicaties ervan voor de mensheid, waarbij hij zijn vermogen demonstreert om complexe wetenschappelijke ideeën te verweven in boeiende verhalen. Sheffield verkende thema's als interstellair reizen, kunstmatige intelligentie en de toekomst van de menselijke beschaving, allemaal met scherp inzicht en technische nauwkeurigheid.
