Focusing on Andrew, the patriarch of the Peters family, the narrative delves into the repercussions of his long-held secrets as they come to light. The story explores the dynamics within the close-knit group as they confront the truths about Andrew's past. Each character's response to these revelations significantly impacts their lives and relationships, setting the stage for growth and transformation. This sequel deepens the emotional stakes established in the first book, examining themes of trust, family bonds, and the journey towards healing.

This study of adult second language learning focuses on those aspects of syntactic development which show that the orders in which structures appear reflect principles of behaviour organization in language production. These principles facilitate learning under conditions where attentional capacity is limited. Learning to put the structures of a language into practice is characterised by recurrent orders of «automation through repetition». Orders of emergence may be only indirectly related to orders of acquisition.
