Thomas Clarke

    Thomas A. Clark is een Schotse dichter wiens poëzie consequent aandacht besteedt aan vorm en de ervaring van het wandelen in het landschap, waarbij hij steeds terugkeert naar het eenzame terrein van de Hooglanden en de Eilanden. In 1973 startte hij met kunstenares Laurie Clark de Moschatel Press. Aanvankelijk een middel voor kleine publicaties van andere schrijvers, ontwikkelde het zich al snel tot een middel voor formele exploratie binnen zijn eigen poëzie, waarbij hij het boek behandelde als een imaginaire ruimte en de pagina als een kader of stilte rond een beeld of een zin.
