It is the first of four volumes of the work, The Crisis of Bourgeois Ideology, and the Doctrine of the Mode of Thinking, which will be published as Nos. 36 to 39 of the Revolutionärer Weg series.

The parallel with the decline of the present ruling stratum of world society and the preparation of a new future well worth living is intended! The book wrests this vision from the realm of mythology and places it on a reliable scientific foundation. It conveys a perspective to all those for whom the götterdämmerung of ruling world finance capital does not signify the end of history but the starting point of a new epoch of the social development of humanity – without hunger, exploitation and war. About the author Stefan Engel is a trained mechanic and works as a free publicist today. He has been politically active since 1968 and has exercised leading functions in the Marxist-Leninist and working-class movement since 1975. Numerous travels and contacts to other countries have helped him gain an intense practical knowledge of international developments. The analysis of the emergence and development of a number of new-imperialist countries became necessary because this new phenomenon dramatically calls into question the present fabric of the imperialist world system. On the firm foundation of the analysis of imperialism, starting from Lenin, since 1969 the MLPD has fundamentally and concretely analyzed new manifestations and essential changes using the dialectical-materialist method: state-monopoly capitalism in the Federal Republic of Germany, the restoration of capitalism in the Soviet Union and in China, the emergence of neocolonialism, the reorganization of international production and the development of the environmental crisis. This „Blue Supplement“ builds upon this ideological-political line, worked out in programmatic documents and the system of MLPD's theoretical organ, Revolutionärer Weg, and develops it further. The book Dawn of the International Socialist Revolution advanced the thesis of the emergence and development of new-imperialist countries for the first time in 2011. The present analysis provides scientific proof of this well-founded thesis. This analysis is a contribution to a consciousness-raising discussion among the masses of workers, women and youth. In addition, it sets out the position of the MLPD vis-à-vis the international revolutionary and working-class movement for the discussion on the 100th Anniversary of the Russian October Revolution.
Some additions to the Marxist-Leninist crisis Theory
Im März 2003 erschien die umfassende Analyse von Stefan Engel „Götterdämmerung über der , neuen Weltordnung‘“. Auf 580 Seiten analysierten der Publizist und sein Team die Neuorganisation der internationalen Produktion – wesentliche Veränderungen und neue Erscheinungen im kapitalistischen Weltsystem seit Anfang der 1990er Jahre. Die Analyse hat sich seitdem Seite für Seite bestätigt. Das war die entscheidende Grundlage, auch die Weltwirtschafts- und Weltfinanzkrise seit 2008 treffsicher zu prognostizieren und einzuschätzen. Diese Broschüre befasst sich vor allem mit den neuen Fragen, die die aktuelle Krise aufwirft. Sie polemisiert gegen die bürgerlichen und kleinbürgerlichen Krisentheorien und überführt das bürgerliche Krisenmanagement der Unfähigkeit zur Lösung der Krise. Die Broschüre ist für das Verständnis der gegenwärtigen Situation unverzichtbar.
