Bronte Flowers is a happy-go-lucky lady, always smiling, glass always half-full - and she has combined her two loves of cooking and stationery in her little cafe, The Orange Teapot. The Orange Teapot is a home of sorts to a ragtag group of people who love its homely charm and Bronte's ability to make people feel good about themselves: Carla: who has just lost her husband and who has just found out he was not all he seemed. Tessie: whose rogue of a husband ran away years ago and she never got over it. Now he is back - and says he's dying. Ryan: the bright young 'Saturday boy' who comes from a rough council estate and finds much needed respite working in The Orange Teapot. The owner is a gruff Irishman - Shaun Collins - a man with a tragic past which has coloured his whole life. Will Bronte and her little cafe be able to rescue him from his demons?
