The two heart friends, Daisy and Min, part ways in anger after one catches the other in bed with the wrong lover. Fifteen years later, they unexpectedly meet again. Their old conflict is long forgotten, and as they exchange the latest news, it feels as if their friendship never ended. Min is married and lives with her husband and two children in a beautiful but somewhat dilapidated estate in romantic Lancashire. On a whim, she invites Daisy to stay with her. As a saving angel, Daisy brings order to her impractical friend's chaotic household. She cooks, gardens, and cares for the children—only to find herself falling for Min's husband, Robert. Daisy begins to wish she could trade places with Min, perhaps even permanently. Fifteen years ago, they fought over a man; now, history seems to be repeating itself.
