The story follows Farrah, who learns she is a half-jinn and that her father is a powerful jinn king after a wish to connect with him goes wrong. Her father becomes trapped in a legendary ring, and she must act quickly to prevent the other jinn kings from suffering the same fate. On her quest, she is pursued by shadow jinn and is joined by Idris, a jinn boy, and Yaseen, her newfound half-brother.
