In Los Angeles, two lions devour their keeper. In New York State, hunters are killed by grizzly bears. In India, an elephant tramples its handler to death. Across the globe, both wild and domestic animals suddenly exhibit unprecedented aggression towards one particular species: humans. Only Jackson Oz, a biology professor at the University of California, recognizes the looming threat: humanity is on the brink of extinction.
