Meer over het boek
Exploring the intersection of clinical psychology and political oppression, the author draws on nearly 25 years of experience in Venezuela to illustrate how psychology has been weaponized against dissent under oppressive regimes. The book provides a theoretical framework for psychologists to navigate the ethical dilemmas inherent in their practice. By recounting the controversial use of psychological tactics during the Bolivarian Revolution and highlighting global experiences, it emphasizes the need for an ethically conscious approach to clinical work in politically charged environments.
