Aladdin, a street child, discovers a magical lamp with the help of the sultan's court magician, Jafar. Inside the lamp resides a brilliantly magical and somewhat mad genie. In doing so, Aladdin not only confronts the dark forces at play but also wins the love of the beautiful Princess Jasmine.
